Why were we never part of the conversation?

Just quickly posting to express how I am still so shocked that I only heard about this via Castanet! This smells of a plan that the Province knows is going to be unpopular! If it was something that truly had merits to it, other than saving the Province money and effort, they would educate those impacted to the benefits. They would proudly unroll it and would make sure everyone heard about it. Instead, you have to be a detective to piece the details together. Also, how were the four victims (municipalities chosen to endure first Family Connection Centres) chosen? It seems fitting that a conservative municipality like Kelowna, who will likely never vote NDP, was chosen. I CALL FOR TRANSPARENCY & PUBLIC AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT!
